Israel low in global popularity ranking
[dropcap style=”font-size: 60px; color: #9b9b9b;”] A [/dropcap] poll released Tuesday by the BBC confirms Israel remains one of the world’s least popular countries, with more than half of those surveyed identifying its influence as “mainly negative.”
Fifty-two percent of respondents views Israel in a strong negative light whilst a mere 20% rated it in “positive terms”, whatever that is, placing it far behind China’s 42% and Russia’s 30%.
This global survey ranked Germany as the country with the best public image — 59% described Europe’s economic powerhouse as playing a “mainly positive” role in international affairs, ahead of runners-up Canada and the UK.
At The Times of Israel where I collected this information one commenter named Lionel Gaffen remarked in the following manner upon learning about these results:
If the poll was conducted by the BBC, the results would already be slanted against Israel, as the ‘ Beeb’ is dominated by anti-Semitic morons.
Anybody who sees or portrays Israel in a negative way is just ignorant of the country, or is anti-Semitic, or both.
Yes, of course! Why didn’t I think of that. The reason for the low rankings is because BBC are anti-Semites!

You’re 100% correct k0nsl. As to the BBC, they’re not “anti-Semitic” and not particularly anti-Israel — which is sad. Lionel Gaffen obviously sees “anti-Semitism” everywhere.
