Interview with a member of “Hackers for Historical Truth”

This particular member of HHT (i.e “Hackers for Historical Truth”) wishes to remain anonymous throughout the interview. The person is a mere sixteen year old boy. Thanks to the DELACROIX TEAM for sending us the interview.

QUESTION: Please tell us when this group was first established

ANSWER: The group was started in early 2004.

QUESTION: Can you tell us how many members the group had/has?

ANSWER: Six members in total and many people which simply supported us, mostly indirectly, if one can say so.

QUESTION: What activities was this group involved with, or in?

ANSWER: Well, mainly programming and everything involved with that. Two of the members had earlier been involved in the making of a famous worm, the name of the worm will remain unknown, otherwise most people will know who these persons were.

QUESTION: Is it true what some people has written on the internet regarding this group, that the members of this group are “Revisionists”?

ANSWER: Uh, no. I hardly even know what type of person a revisionist is

RESPONSE: A Revisionist is somebody who challenges the orthodox “Holocaust” story, particularly the stories of “gassings”. I was very interested about the claims that this group were made up of Revisionists, because the story was used to cause trouble to Revisionism, that Revisionists were unable to counter the “arguments” of one organisation, that they proceeded to DDoS this organisation.

A Revisionist can be anyone or anything; engineers, chemists, historians, architects. Anything.

ANSWER: The members of our group is none of that. We, all six of us, are all teenagers and our interests are only programming and “hacking”. We simply created this group because we were tired of the lies that the Germans had gas chambers and that they gassed jews in their camps. None of us believes the Germans gassed jews. This doesn’t make us revisionists, does it?

QUESTION: So you do not believe the Holocaust happend?

ANSWER: I, and other members of the group, do not believe in the stories that the Germans tried to systematically mass-murder and exterminate the jews by gassing them to death in their camps. We were so sick of all these lies that we decided to create a group called “hackers for historical truth” and we created software which spread the message that the Germans never gassed jews, with links to various websites which contested these lies.

QUESTION: How do you know that the Germans did not exterminate the Jews?

ANSWER: There are so many reasons but space alone does not permit a very wide or broad discussion regarding this question. I know that the stories are untrue from having been told one thing in school and seeing a new thing on the TV and reading something entirely different in books. If you look at the entire matter with a critical eye you quickly realise it just doesn’t cling very well with what you were told in school, or on the TV or what you have read in various books. If you compare all the stories with a critical eye you too would not believe the Germans exterminated the jews.

QUESTION: OK. Which website did you link to in your software?

ANSWER: I can’t remember precisely which websites, but they had good materiel which disproved of the lie of jewish extermination. We usually googled for websites which had this kind of information, and when we found something good we spread the message. What’s wrong with doing that? People deserve to know the truth.

QUESTION: Is it true that the group targeted Holocaust websites and tried to stop these websites from functioning?

ANSWER: We never did anything against such websites. Our programs were not malicious in any way, not even for the person who unknowingly had these programs running on their computer. This is not to say nobody did do something like that, could have been anybody with a botnet or the knowledge of programming. All we ever did was trying to inform people about the gas chambers being inventions, lies. Through e-mail. One member of the group even created a IRC bot (INTERNET RELAY CHAT.-ED) which would connect to random servers and join a random channel and say a quick message with a link to information which disproved of the jewish extermination. We released a lot of examples of this irc bot, so I guess a lot of people must have been informed that the gassings are lies. But we never engaged in any malicious attacks against anybody.

QUESTION: So nobody in the group participated in “DDoS”-attacks or similar attacks on Holocaust websites? The reason for asking this is because one such Holocaust organisation mentioned that it had been attacked by a group identified as “Hackers for Historical Truth”.

ANSWER: Nope, we never did anything like that. In this kind of scene, DDoS attacks are considered lame, only kiddies, or rather “script kiddies” does things like that.

QUESTION: Is the group doing anything today?

ANSWER: Not much. [DELETION] is working for a anti-virus company now and I have been employed by a pretty well-established IT security firm. So everything is very much on ice right now. I don’t think our group is needed so much more because personally I believe that if somebody is genuine about finding out the truth regarding the jewish extermination and the gas chambers, they will do so, and when they search google or any other search engine they will find material which will surely make them think twice about what they have been taught.

QUESTION: Where are you from?

ANSWER: I am from Russia, one other member is also Russian and the rest are from America.

QUESTION: How old are you and other members in the group?

ANSWER: I just turned 16. The youngest member is 14, and the oldest member is 18.

QUESTION: That is not very old. It looks like a very diverse group of people, how does everybody get along?

ANSWER: Yes we are quite a mixed group of people. Young? I would have much rather prefered to be 14 again, but, having all the knowledge I have now. In this type of scene people don’t care about the age. You can be 14 and still be a much better programmer than somebody who is 25. So age doesn’t matter at all, most people probably don’t know that.

INTERVIEWER: This is the end of the interview. I don’t have any further questions. Would you like to say anything?

ANSWER: I want to say hi to everyone in #trinity and to the Russian group called XG3.
